Prof. Chan founded Decisive Consulting Limited, a management consulting firm, and co-founded Dark Horse Investment, an angel investment company. A former consultant with McKinsey & Company, the former Co-CEO of a-connect (China), and China General Manager of Englishtown.com, an EF Group company. A serial entrepreneur in technology start-ups in Digital Signal Processing application, integrated communication, mobile / e-commerce solutions and e-learning.
Prof. Chan is a frequent speaker at conferences and business seminars, a corporate trainer and executive coach, recipient of the Queen's Gold Medal for mathematics presented by Queen Elizabeth II. Prof. Chan studied engineering at the University of Cambridge, awarded BA, MA and PhD. He is the author of “My Cambridge Days” and “Dream Journey For Two”. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and speaks basic French and Japanese.
