Mr. Cheng is an ex-investment banker turned hotelier, serial entrepreneur and tech investor. After leaving JP Morgan and HSBC, he joined Langham Hospitality as the Head of Digital. His background in computer science and digital strategy for hotels enabled him to create successful start-ups such as Catalyst Ventures, Business Creation, and Telkie, among others, while his knowledge in structured finance brings on the table tangible value in tech start-up investing.
Mr. Cheng has passion for coaching the next generation in the ecosystem. He enjoys mentoring and coaching start-ups, and is currently a Part-time Lecture of Department of Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has experience in consultancy for start-ups, hotels and enterprises on digital transformation and strategic planning.
