Mr. Wong has extensive international business experience, including over 20 years in multinational media companies.
Mr. Wong is currently Project Director at the Center of Entrepreneurship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Visiting Lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He provides consultancy and training to organizations in both public and private sectors, as well as start-up on numerous platforms and programs.
Mr. Wong spent over 11 years at STAR TV, owned by News Corporation Limited. During his tenure as Associate Vice President in Business Development, he was involved in forming joint-ventures, launching satellite direct-to-home (DTH) TV service and TV channels on various platforms, as well as numerous multi-million-dollar projects in Asia Pacific. Mr. Wong joined Celestial Pictures as Director of Channel Distribution and launched the very first global Chinese movie channel. Later, he had worked in Business Development, PR and Marketing at NDS, Al Jazeera Media Network and MX1, a subsidiary of the largest satellite company, SES.
